About me
I write, I edit, I produce, I supervise other editors, and I’m a mom. “Lady Editor” is a tongue-in-cheek reference to gender politics in the industry as well as a nod to the many legendary female editors throughout film history.
Originally from New England, I moved to California in 2004 to pursue my MFA in film at CalArts. I started working as an AE in reality TV in 2008, eventually transitioning to marketing/ home entertainment at Trailer Park in 2010. My work has spanned a variety of campaigns and projects from fifteen-second Instagram teases to comprehensive hour-long documentaries. In November 2019, I left Trailer Park to return to freelance work; but, like many others, I ended up spending most of 2020 and 2021 at home with my young son. As the world begins to open up again, I’m pursuing collaborations that feel interesting, challenging, and rewarding.
Outside of marketing, I have cut shorts and features including the award-winning Diamond on Vinyl which premiered at Slamdance in 2013 and has screened in over 70 countries. Diamond had a three-year run on the Sundance Channel and is currently available on iTunes. I also bake a mean peach cobbler.
